Interested In Seeing Photos Others Are Sharing On Twitter?

There are two ways to do this. You can perform a link only search on twitter that brings up photo links that lead to each individual photo. The problem with this way is that it can take a lot of time having to click on each link to view a pic. (I will discuss how to do this manual option in the near future). The other option you can choose is this site Twicsy to see actual images in thumbnail view of recently shared pics on twitter. Clicking on the thumbnail will bring up a larger image of the photo. The site also allows you to view images by the dozens at a time on one page and you can send out a prewritten tweet with the link added or re-edit the tweet of the photo you would like to send. I think it is cool. One downfall--or maybe not-- is that it has porn included. Innocent eyes are not protected!

Help Answer A Question And Maybe Make Money Too?

This website Ask On Twitter uses an application to pull tweets from twitter that begin with the words "does anyone know" and displays them for the sites visitors to answer. For persons looking to make money..err..not necessarily get rich, this site could be something close to a gold mine. Of course it would entail a lot of hard work sifting through tweets but once you've found a question you could answer the hard part of the job is done.
Here are some of the other benefits.. You get exposure, you become an expert, you build stronger relationships by being of assistance and providing solutions, and if you are multi talented, you might be anywhere from a few cents to thousands of dollars richer.

Now all your followers can be the first to know. If you are planning on traveling somewhere by plane or boat it is most likely expected that your phone will be turned off. How will your friends and family know you are okay when you have reached your destination?
This is where you will need the help of Arrived OK. They offer a service that tracks your phone signal upon landing and auto tweets an "I'm OK" message to a selected group of your twitter followers alerting them that you arrived OK.

How To Know When Someone Has Favorite Your Tweet!

It's simple really. Visit this site Favstar and enter your username in the box provided. If there are any of your tweets that has been starred or favorite, the site will bring up a page with listings of your tweets and the amount of tweeple that has favorite it by a show of their avatars under the tweet. You will see you on the left of each tweet. If you are like me and favorite your own tweet - (yes I favorite my own tweet so when I don't want to sift through my forest of tweets for a certain link or quote etc.I can quickly go to my favorites) - your avatar will not only show up to the left but under the tweet as well.

Use Twitter To Keep Updated With Swine Flu!

There is a useful site Flu tweets that helps keep you updated with swine flue or any tweets that contains the word 'flu' in it. I suspect there may be more than one site that offers this free service and tracks illness related tweets in real time or find trends in flu epidemics so feel free to search around if I don't get around to posting it fast enough.

How To Block Retweets When Using Twitter Search Box

If you're like me and utilize twitter's search box a lot you've probably realized by now that it can get really annoying seeing so many re-tweeted tweets in your search. But there is an easy way around this. You can block those re-tweets or eliminate them from your search simply by using a hyphen or dash in front of the letter RT followed with a colon, your search key words and no spaces between as shown in the brackets. ( -RT:follow my blog ). Twitter supports the common hyphen (-) operator which represents NOT for when doing a search on twitter. Eliminating or blocking re-tweets in your search will save you time and energy and help you get more focused results in your search.
